About the Author

- Tom Carroll is one of the top up and coming coaches in hockey today.  He has spent countless hours in rinks conducting practices and developing athletes of all ages and skill levels. Hockey’s Greatest Drills for Great Practices is a compilation of over 150 drills actually used in NHL, Olympic Team, NCAA Division I and III, USA Select National Team, USHL, Prep School and youth hockey practices. These proven drills and practice sessions are designed specifically to challenge your athletes and allow them the freedom and to develop to their full potential.

- With a Masters Degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor’s from the University of Wisconsin, Tom Carroll’s coaching career includes successful stops at the NCAA Division I and III levels, the USHL, International Tournaments and Prep School. Among his many coaching accomplishments include all-star selections, International Select All-Star competition, USA National Select Camps of all ages and he is a veteran of countless hockey camps throughout North America.  

- Tom Carroll’s playing career is highlighted by winning a number of championships including two NCAA Division I National Championships at the University of Wisconsin and two Minnesota State Championships at Edina East High School. Also included on his impressive playing resume is extensive International competition. Throughout his career, Tom has been fortunate to work with and draw upon the many experiences of the games’ greatest minds and legendary coaches and includes these and countless others in Hockey’s Greatest Drills for Great Practices.
